Here resteth the Body of Anne Wife of Nathaniel ILES

Clothier, of this Parish,

and Daughter of George TOWNSEND

of Rowell Gent who departed

this Life,the 15 day of Novem. A. D. 1702.

 

Also of the above Nathaniel ILES, who died Feb. 22, 1740, Aged 75.

And of Anne, his 2nd. Wife,

Daughter of Edw. PlERCE, of the

Devises, Gent. who died

July 1, 1747, Aged 65.

Likewise of Jane, their Daughter who died March 7,1710, Aged 32.

 

In Memory of

Elizabeth, the Daughter of

Nathaniel ILES,

Clothier of this Parish,

who departed this Life,

28 day of Decr. AD 1708. In Memory also of John

the Son of Nathaniel ILES, Clothier, of this Parish,

who departed this Life,

the 18 day of May, Ano Dom 1710.

Beneath this Stone are interred the Remains of Sarah, daughter

of Nathaniel ILES, She died Decr. 5, I 1784 Aged 74 Year's.

Also Ann, his Daughter,

She died June 12, 1791, Aged 89 Also Catherine NORTON,

She died April 30, 1788, Aged 75.

Richard COOKE. of Lodgmore, in the Parish of Stroud

Wh who departed this Life, Sep. 4, 1769, Aged 57 Years.

Also of Richard his Son, and Ann, his Wife, She died May 24, 1772,

Aged 29.

He Nov. 12, 1774, Aged 36. Also THOMAS their Son, who died in Augt. 1774 Aged 1 Year, & 2 Months.

 

On an Atchment, Argent, three Bars Azure, in Chief three Annulets Gules. COOKE impaling Per cross Argent and Azure, on a Bend compony Azure, & Gules, three Cinque.foils Or—KING.

Crest—A Griffin's head erased Or. in his Beak an Annulet, Gules.

In Memory of

Henry COOKE of Farmhill in the Parish of Stroud who departed this Life, the 30 day of April 1192,

Aged 58 Years.

Also of Sarah his Wife, daughter of Richard KING of Alkerton, in the Parish of Eastington, in this County,

Gent. who departed this Life, the 14 day of June 1783,

Aged 48 Years.

Sacred to the Memory of ANN, Wife of Thomas WHITE of Stonehouse, Esqr. and Daughter of Mr. John LITTLE, of Paganhill, in the Pariah of Stroud

She had the Happiness of being brought up from a Child in the paths of Religion, and Virtue, by Parents of the most exemplary Piety.

To her family she was an invaluable friend, to the distressed a liberal benefactor, and to all an Example of Patience, Humility, and true Religion. She bore a long, and severe Affliction with Christian fortitude, and resignation. Thus prepared for a glorious immortality She calmely resigned her Soul into the hands of her merciful Redeemer on Sunday the 11 of January 1784, Aged 58.

Aged 66.

Thomas, died July 28, 1768; Aged 46. Mary, died Nov. 4, 1760, Aged 38. Sarah, died Jany. 2. 1767, Aged 25. John, died Jul. 30, 1788, Aged 433. Hannah PEGLER, died Oct. 8; 1794,

Aged 64.

Esther ALDRIDGE died Nov. 19,1764,

THOMAS CHANDLER, of this Parish, Clothier. He gave to our Preacher

59 pounds. and to our Poor, he gave 100 pounds. to be laid out in Cloth, and gaveaway on Thomas day, and died the 2 day of August, Anno Christi 1731,

died Oct. 31, 1758, Aged 33.
