The village of Sandford lies at the western end of the Mendip Hills about 16 miles south of Bristol. For several years now the Anglican and Methodist churches in the village have been working closely together. Joint services are held every Sunday. On the first and third Sundays the services are in the Anglican Church and on the second and fourth Sundays at the Methodist church. All services begin at 10.15 am.
